FAQs
This program is for students who already have a strong foundation and are trying to reach a 700+ in math. It is recommended you have scored at least a 600 on a recent practice or official exam. The course would be an extreme challenge for students starting below 550.
Eight students maximum. We never enroll more than eight students in a cohort, ensuring everyone has opportunities to participate, ask questions, and receive direct feedback.
Students work through challenging problems, discuss strategies, and review the fastest, cleanest ways to solve anything thrown at them.
The program runs for 4 weeks and is designed as a focused push toward a 700+ section score.
Students should expect to complete a minimum of 1.5 hours a week of structured practice and homework between live sessions plus two practice exams throughout the course. It is highly recommended students study at least 15 minutes every single day rather than doing their practice all at once.
Private tutoring is fully individualized. This program is a focused small-group experience built around advanced SAT questions, live problem-solving, and shared accountability.
Yes. Students will access Penguin Test Prep materials for lessons, practice, and review. The goal is to make sure students are not just watching explanations, but actively training on the types of questions that matter most.
Because space is limited, enrollment is non-refundable once the program begins. Before enrolling, make sure the program is the right fit for your current score level and goals.
Every student who meets the participation and testing requirements is eligible for our SAT Math Score Guarantee.
- Starting score of 600 or higher: You're guaranteed a score of at least 700 or a 100-point improvement, whichever is lower.
- Starting score below 600: You're guaranteed an improvement of at least 100 points.
If you meet the requirements but don't achieve your guaranteed score, you'll receive a full refund and free access to Penguin Test Prep Academy until you reach your goal.
